I have the privilege of working with people around the world using embodied coaching that combines deep excavation, movement, breath, and immediate action. My hope is that you (re)discover your inner fire and (re)ignite your belief in yourself and all you are capable of. In sessions with me, the shifts happen quickly with an emphasis on personal empowerment.
I worked for many years in the for-profit and non-profit sectors while living in Chicago. After neglecting my own self-care and struggling with eating disorders for over 20 years, I took a big leap and left her prior career to start aligning my work with my core values.
For those wondering about the credentials…I hold an MS in Public Service Management from DePaul University and am certified in Strategic Intervention Coaching through Robbins-Madanes. I’ve trained in Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga modalities with the School of Sacred Arts and with Cat Kabira Yoga Energetics and love sharing my passion for modern dance (BA from Denison University in Ohio). I completed 20 hours of training in Trauma Center-Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Trauma Center Yoga Program, giving me the skills to integrate a trauma-informed lens into my work. I am currently pursuing my 500-hour yoga teacher training certification with Yoga Medicine and am most interested in the decolonization, history, and politics of yoga.
Moving locations has always been a part of my life and that has led to me travelling and living in many places around this world including North America, Europe, and the Middle East, and currently resides on Vancouver Island in Canada with her husband and two kiddos. She is a lover of all things chocolate, yearns for crisp autumn days near the water, backcountry camping, and twinkle lights.
